SoftAyu Privacy Policy

1. Entity & Scope

This Privacy Policy governs the SoftAyu software platform across all operating environments (Windows Desktop, Web, Android, and iOS Applications), operated under the Institute of E Ayurved Multipurpose Society. SoftAyu provides digital clinical management solutions tailored for registered Ayurveda practitioners (Vaidyas), clinics, and medical institutions.

2. Data We Collect

• Practitioner Account Details: Name, Clinic/Hospital Name, Email Address (support@softayu.in), Contact Number, and billing address collected during setup or demonstration requests.
• Clinical & Patient Records: Patient profiles, EMR/case papers, Panchakarma schedules, prescription history, and pharmacy stock records. All clinical health records remain the exclusive property of the practitioner; SoftAyu operates solely as a secure data processor.
• Technical & Diagnostic Information: App crash logs, system diagnostic data, IP addresses, and unique device tokens collected to authenticate 3-device synchronization and ensure server stability.

3. Data Storage, Security & Encryption

• Encryption Standards: All personal and clinical data transmitted between your device and our database is secured using SSL/TLS encryption in transit and AES-256 encryption at rest.
• Payment Security: Online payments are processed through secure payment gateways (including PayU). SoftAyu does not store full credit card numbers, debit card details, or banking credentials—only secure transaction tokens are retained for accounting.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

SoftAyu strictly enforces a zero-monetization policy regarding user data. We do not sell, rent, trade, or lease your personal or clinical data. Data is shared only under the following operational circumstances:

• Infrastructure Services: Encrypted cloud hosting providers utilized strictly for database synchronization and backup operations.
• Payment Gateways: Standard transaction data shared securely with PayU India for processing payments, governed by PayU’s privacy policy.
• Legal Compliance: Disclosures required to comply with applicable statutory laws, court orders, or governmental regulations.

5. Data Rights & Account Deletion Policy

In accordance with global app store mandates and data protection principles, practitioners hold total control over their data:

• Access & Correction: You may review or update your profile details directly within the software settings.
• Data Export: Clinical data can be exported in standard digital formats upon request.
• Account & Data Erasure: You have the right to request full deletion of your account, login credentials, and associated cloud backups. To initiate a permanent deletion request, send an email to support@softayu.in with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Requests are processed within 7 to 14 business days.

6. Children's Privacy Notice

SoftAyu is a professional B2B medical workspace designed exclusively for licensed medical professionals and adults. It is not directed toward or intended for use by children under the age of 13.

7. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect enhancements in data security standards or legal regulations. The updated version will be made available at softayu.in/privacy-policy. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
